Jason Salgado began his career as a Staff Attorney for the Guardian ad Litem Program of the Thireteenth Judicial Circuit in 1997. In 1998 he became the senior associate at Caglianone & Miller PA, which focused its practice in the area of insurance liability defense. In 2001, Mr. Salgado left the firm to join Terrana and Perez, P.A. with Michael Terrana and Ronald Perez, Jr. (The firm would later add Mr. Salgado as a partner and become Terrana, Perez and Salgado, P.A.) The firm continued its focus in the area of first party property insurance, but also expanded to include representation of clients in liability matters.

Mr. Salgado has spent the majority of his legal career in matters involving first party insurance claims, third party liability claims and insurance coverage issues. He has over 17 years of experience handling insurance claims from inception through trial. He has represented clients in various areas of the field, including premises liability, automobile accidents, declaratory actions involving coverage disputes, arson and fraud, hurricane, sinkhole, water damage, wind damage and collapse claims.

Mr. Salgado has participated in numerous successful civil jury trials across the State of Florida involving premises liability, automobile accidents and first party property damage matters.

Mr. Salgado was born and raised in Tampa and has resided in the area all of his life. He graduated with his Bachelors of Arts from the University of Florida and Juris Doctorate from Stetson University. He currently resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife and two children.
